A short montage later, and the two are in “love.” The prince asks for her name and she freaks out, running off, leaving him dumbfounded. She tells him to meet her at her cottage in the woods. Back at the cottage, the fairies tell her she’s a princess and she starts crying, not knowing that this means the prince can continue to see her. They bring her to the castle and decide that the best course of action is to leave her all alone, unprotected before the time of the curse is up.

Low and behold, she gets stabbed with a needle. Oh no, who so ever could have predicted this outcome?
