Snoozing Beauty (part 3)

That night, the prince went to the cottage, and knowing that he is the only way for her curse to be lifted, the scorned fairy ties him up and brings him to her castle.

Back in the kingdom, the other fairies realize their stupidity and put everyone else to sleep so that they wouldn’t have to explain that it was entirely their fault the princess got stabbed. The fairies then set off towards the scorned fairy’s castle to fix their blunder. They find the prince and get him out, but when the scorned fairy comes after them, the other fairies tell the prince that they can’t help him because they are too much of wusses. It’s a much better idea to have the only one among them who is just an ordinary person with no magic at all and at best a moderately okay fighter to go fight the all-powerful, revenge-driven fairy, than for a group of fairies who together might be more powerful to handle the situation. So, giving him some weapons, they send him on his merry way.
