Fix it later

They found his diary under his bed. Mom and dad are singing downstairs so I can’t think of story-like sentences. Evil villain, now dead. Group rummaging through stuff. Look at diary with disgust. Find last half of the book, he’s not evil. Diary says he realizes that his ideas have been warped and is very sad. Wants to turn things around. Even if he does, he knows the world will not accept him. His face, whether he is or not, now embodies all the bad in the world. His plan to save the world got changed and distracted by greed and anger and will end up destroying it. “I wanted to push us to the stars, but got burned by the sun instead.” In the world’s mind he acted alone, and just happened to have followers incapable of independent thought to extend his will through, rather than the movement was a culmination of each person’s wants and desires. The only way to right this is to die. Can’t kill self or die accidentally though. Opposing forces must capture him, put him on trial, and sentence him to death. He will be the bad guy till the very end, so when he dies, his ideas will die. “Cut the beast off by the head.” His followers will scatter and go into hiding. They will never let to light that they followed him lest they be punished. He doesn’t want to die, and he knows they will make him suffer first, but he sees no other option, and plans for a breach in security to happen when the special task team comes the next day. His defenses will fall and his men will be slaughtered. They will storm his home and he will be captured and beaten. They will strip him down and parade him through the streets. They will try to torture the names of his officers from him, but he will not give them. They deserve the chance to change their lives that he never got. Their best defense is anonymity. What they do with their new chance at life is their own problem. He just hopes that they don’t try to save him. He’s told no one of his plan, except his wife. At the time of writing, she has already left for the New World. Her identity changed, our child safe. She will bring up the boy not knowing his father. He is pain-stricken that this is so, but there is no other way. Adds a note to anyone that finds this as a word of advice, not to let your ideas to become someone else’s plans.
