In Frankfurt, Germany, there is an international publishing convention called the Buchmesse. I think this would be a great opportunity for me in the future. This convention will help me in my future publishing career by giving me access to some of the world’s greatest publishing individuals and corporations. The world’s greatest publishing minds will be at this conference, and I feel that it will be beneficial for me to hear their advice It is on October the 13th. I was surprised to find that the convention was only one day long; however, it seems like an excellent opportunity to learn more about the publishing world.
The airfare expense is one of the biggest restrictions of attending. However, this month, round-trip flights to Berlin are less than $500. This is through STA (Student Travel Agency) and I just recently seen this online. I am very tempted to simply to buy a plane ticket and go and train to Frankfurt for the weekend.
